I Felt Everything

He smiled all day.

Talked normally. Laughed at jokes. Acted like everything was okay. No one noticed the silence behind his eyes.

But at night… it was different.

The same memories came back. The same voice in his head asking questions he couldn’t answer. He scrolled through old chats, old pictures, trying to feel something that once felt like home.

And the worst part?

He wasn’t angry.

He wasn’t broken.

He just… felt empty.

Like all the emotions he once had were still there —

just quieter… heavier… harder to understand.

Sometimes he wished he could cry, just to feel something real again.

But he couldn’t.

So he just sat there in the dark, holding onto feelings he couldn’t explain.

Because the truth is —

the deepest pain isn’t always loud… sometimes, it’s just silence that never leaves.
